About the Owner

Jordan Young, MSN, PMHNP-BC

I believe mental health care should feel supportive, not rushed or overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where children, adolescents, and families feel heard, understood, and actively involved in the treatment process.

I take a balanced approach combining clinical knowledge with real world understanding to help patients build skills, improve functioning, and feel more in control of their emotions.

What Working With Me Is Like

  • Appointments are intentional and not rushed
  • Care is collaborative. I will always include you in decisions
  • I prioritize understanding the full picture, not just symptoms
  • I focus on long term growth, not just short term fixes
  • Honest, direct communication without judgment

Who I Typically Work With

I work with children, adolescents, and young adults who may be struggling with:

  • Anxiety or excessive worry
  • ADHD and attention difficulties
  • Mood changes or depression
  • Emotional regulation challenges
  • School-related stress or avoidance
  • Behavioral concerns at home or school

A Note for Parents

It’s completely normal to feel unsure about starting mental health care for your child. Many families come in with questions, hesitation, or past experiences that didn’t feel helpful. My goal is to meet you where you are, provide clarity, and work together to determine the best path forward for your child.
